Transparency

Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency is one of PromoScout's core values. We believe you should always know when we may earn a commission and how that affects our recommendations.

Section 1

How affiliate links work

Some links on PromoScout are affiliate links.

If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, PromoScout may earn a commission.

There is never any additional cost to the shopper.

Section 2

Our promise

Our Editorial Promise

PromoScout does not recommend brands because they pay commissions.

Our recommendations are based on research, savings opportunities, trustworthiness, and overall value.

Many brands featured on PromoScout do not have affiliate programs, and we include them because they provide value to shoppers — not because we earn money.

Affiliate relationships never influence our Trust Score, AI Confidence, Buy Now vs. Wait recommendations, or overall rankings.

Section 3

How we evaluate brands

Every brand on PromoScout is scored across a wide range of independent signals — none of which are affiliate-related.

Section 4

How affiliate revenue helps

When shoppers use affiliate links, the small commissions we earn go directly back into the work that keeps PromoScout free and independent.

Keeping PromoScout free for shoppers
Section 5

Brands without affiliate programs

Many brands featured on PromoScout do not participate in any affiliate program — and that's completely fine.

When a brand has no affiliate program, we still cover them the same way we cover every other brand. Their page continues to recommend the smartest way to save, whether that's a rewards program, seasonal sale, cashback opportunity, or waiting for a specific holiday event.

Our job is to help you save. Affiliate revenue is a byproduct of that — never the driver.
